A Very Good Name In Paintball Marker Manufacturers: Armotech Paintball Guns
A company that is fast becoming a major player in the paintball Marker field is the Armotech company. While not as widely recognized as some other manufacturers, Armotech nevertheless has produced some solid, good quality, accurate paintball guns. In this article I want to describe just a couple of these models for you, to give you an example of what is available from them.
First up for consideration: the Armotech WG-47. This is a semi automatic paintball marker, that to me at least resembles the legendary AK-47. You can purchase this Armotech paintball gun and power it either with CO2, HPA or N2. This Armotech paintball gun allows you to adjust the velocity of the expelled paintballs as you fire, and also has an expansion chamber built inside the magazine. This Armotech paintball gun is available either as a folding stock or fixed stock model. For accurate firing it comes equipped with a sight rail, a vertical side feed and a 14 inch barrel. It is priced at just under $370.
Another great offering in Armotech paintball guns is their "Zeus" line of paintball marker pistols. A particular favorite of mine is their Zeus G-2 model. Priced at $179.99 on Amazon.com, it features such things as a metal trigger frame, adjustable velocity settings, contoured rubber grips, and comes with an extra 6 inch barrel. The Zeus G-2 model is designed to allow for quick field stripping as well. This Armotech paintball gun has a 10 round capacity and is high gas efficiency.
Armotech Paintball Guns -- Which Type of Firing Mechanism Is Right for Me? In common with most other paintball markers, Armotech paintball guns are available in a semi automatic configuration. "Semi automatic" means that each time you pull the trigger 1 -- and only 1 -- paintball will be ejected from the marker. Some models of paintball guns have a pump action design. Pump action markers require you to stop after firing every shot and clock the weapon again. If you have an Armotech paintball gun that operates in a semi automatic mode, however, you will be able to greatly increase the number of shots you can fire per second, as you will not have to stop and pump, or cock the marker before firing it. Is it possible to equip your Armotech paintball gun so that it can operate in full automatic mode? In reality any electric paintball gun can be modified in this way; all you need to do is purchase a different internal circuitry board or a specialized electronic trigger. If you modify your Armotech paintball gun to operate in full automatic mode, then the weapon will continue to fire as long as you hold down the trigger. Please note however that for most tournament play you are not permitted to use full automatic paintball guns. Armotech paintball guns make excellent choices for the new paintball player. This is because Armotech paintball guns are very sturdy and can handle a lot of wear and tear. In addition to this, Armotech paintball guns are quite easy to maintain, and are easily upgradable. If you are looking for something that does not require a huge financial investment -- and this is particularly important if you have not yet made a permanent commitment to the sport -- then Armotech paintball guns are certainly a good choice.
